Dynamic and Balanced
The M-6C is a 2-way in-ceiling/wall speaker with a high excursion 6.5" poly woofer and a 1" soft dome tweeter in co-axial arrangement. This combination provides great flexibility in terms of application and suitability to different music tastes. In addition to smooth and natural vocals, the 6.5" woofer is capable of excellent bass output, delivering impactful performance and ensuring seamless integration if a subwoofer is used

Imaging and Clarity
The 1" soft dome tweeter provides abundant detail and clarity, generating solid and focused imaging for all sound sources in a spacious sound stage. Designed for a broadened listening sweet spot, the tweeter employs a diffuser to assist off-axis response as well as a pivoting mechanism to achieve proper aiming. Perfect integration between the tweeter and woofer is achieved through a 12dB crossover network with a compensation network. Once installed and setup, the M-6C projects a realistic sound stage with excellent resolution.

Great value, excellent sound
I bought a pair of Micca M-6Cs to replace a pair of aged & failing ceiling speakers. They sound great -- not a booming bass, but decent -- nothing a subwoofer somewhere in the neighborhood can't easily augment. The rest of the sound is solid, clear and well balanced.

While they are indeed 6.5" speakers, the very nice quick mount and grill system they come with is slightly larger. No big -- If you're replacing some existing 6.5" speakers, you can unscrew the speakers and the crossover system from the mount, hot glue the crossover to the magnet backside and install in your existing speaker box and hole. The crossover board has some nice speaker line in quick attachment buttons.

Bang for the buck and then some
Wow, I'm really quite impressed by these inexpensive speaker. Our home system has grown organically over the years and we wound up with different speakers in every room. My girlfriend and I both prefer these over all the others and that includes both Bose and Polk speakers, hands down.

Build quality is excellent, the case (basically standard to all mfgs) mounts easily, the pc boards are very thick and populated with high quality caps and inductors, the attachment points are gold plated push studs, the speakers have nice size magnets without being grotesque and the basket assembly (stamped) is sturdy......all in all very solid.

Installation template was cake to use (the plaster ceiling wasn't, but that's another story altogether) and the included grills fit nice and snug.

They look great, they sound even better, totally happy with the purchase and about to get another set for the bedroom.
Great value
Bought 4 of these for in-ceiling audio in the office boardroom; and for this purpose they've been great. Installation features are excellent, have a very clean look once installed and sound pretty decent. For general purpose audio or soft background music, or perhaps surround channels for the casual home theater the audio quality is perfectly decent, but I would not consider this speaker for serious music listening at reasonable volumes. Not that the speakers have problem playing at volume, but at levels where the music is the focus of your attention the tonal qualities of the speaker become more apparent. Overall I think these speakers are excellent value and would not hesitate to buy again.

Electronica/Dance Music Producing Expert
I'm using 2 KRK ROKIT8s in my studio. These bad boys have a good kick! These monitors are amazing, even without a sub. I decided to get the subwoofer, since I'm a huge bass buff. I have to say, this subwoofer is ridiculous. I haven't heard such clean low frequency sound in a while. If you're into making ambient music, dance, electronica, dnb, dubstep, etc...definitely purchase this subwoofer. The level of accuracy on this thing is amazing. It's so clean, and smoothe, you'll get goosebumps the first few times you hear it....no joke.

I've set the crossover at 50hz and this thing shakes my entire studio. The sub itself plays frequencies that the human ear can't hear, but it plays it very well...and I know this because I can feel it. You might not be able to hear the very, very, very low frequencies, but you sure can feel it. You can set the volume on low, and let is smoothly fill up the room with low-end power. A cool speaker....
I purchased this subwoofer as part of a 'system' (which includes 2 KRK RP8 speakers) for my Korg M3 Keyboard Workstation. I was using my old computer speakers until I got this setup. This subwoofer is impressive, however, I must say my days of having 'golden ears' is long gone. Too many years of exposure to loud sounds (concerts, guitars, motorcycles) and age (51) means I don't have the kind of ears that are particularly discriminating. However, the new keyboard needed a sound system that covered lots of frequencies, the bottom end in particular. I looked into a lot of 'studio monitor' systems, and decided that KRK offered the best options in terms of price/performance. I also must admit that I didn't audition any speakers by listening. It was purely a documentation type review. That said, I'm thrilled with what I've got. Thump, Thump, Thump...
After the CD player on my Sony bookshelf system (also reviewed on Amazon) finally gave up and they wanted more money to fix it than it was worth, I decided I would use my old computer as my home stereo system.

After doing some online research and talking to a salesman that sold most every brand I ended up with this 10" KRK Active Sub and a pair of KRK RP6G2 Rokit G2 6-inch Powered Studio Monitors.

I have this set up in my 16' X 16' living room, and it is on the verge of being overkill. The sound is nice and pure though. If you want a 'real' sub for your computer for video games, music or just to impress your friends then I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of these.

You will need to buy a cable that has a 1/8" plug to two 1/4" plugs to connect to your graphics card.

You have the option of RCA or XLR outputs to go to your monitors. I used the XLR outputs to go to the 6" monitors.
