Good
good sound and not any problems

Running with Infinity Primus 2x P363, 2x PS38, 2x P153 2x P163BX 1x PC351. Powered by a Sony 7.2 system. Good sound yet not as loud as one would think meaning you just need to turn it up more so I cant truly consider that a reason to mark it down.

Better than most HTIB subs
I have had this sub for several years since they came out, it gets a good work out every weekend and some week nights playing movies from bluray. At first it was in my bed room 16x14 in an apartment and was more than powerful, not to much boominess that most ported subs have it sounded fairly tight but drops off qickly under 50 hz. Now I have moved into a house with a 20x17 bedroom and 17x30 living room that opens into the kitchen. I was a bit surprised that in movies even in that large space the sub was still able to give pleasing lfe effects when placed in a corner but in music it just doesn't have enough thump anymore. I let my Yamaha receiver auto adjust the sub levels and as usuall the gain dial is set to around the 10 to 11 o'clock position with crossover at 100 hz. I am shopping around now for another sub to supplement it but will now have to pay a lot more, I will probably end up with the emotiva or a similar wireless sub to make placement easier and use this one still right...
Best sub for the price!!
I don't know if I just got lucky and caught the best sale on Amazon at the right time, but I already have one of these subs and I was thrilled with it so I decided to get another for my 7.2 system. I got it for $141 here on Amazon, brand new, and the dual sub setup with these subs BOOM! Music, Movies, and everything in between come to life in a whole new way. It must have been a wholesale price for $141, but even for $299 I was extremely happy with this sub. It sounds comparable to a good 10" and most 8" amplified subs are 100 watts while this one is 150. You can feel the difference. If your receiver has the ability to run 2 subs, get these! You cant beat the boom for the buck.

Balanced and Great Sound, Excellent Value
I ordered P362's from Electronic Expo and they sent these P363's instead. Although functionally the same, it's a newer model with a full front grill. No complaints from me!

These replace a pair of Klipsch two-way floor speakers as my front pair of 7.1 surround. The improvements are definitely obvious. Even my wife, who doesn't care about these things, notices the clarity of sound from these P363's.

The highs are not as bright as the Klipsch's, but I suspect it's because it's more accurate. The mid's are, wow! There is great clarity and does not sound strained at all even at high volumes.

The bass is good, but the need for a sub for the low movie rumbles is obvious. I mistakenly played the Tron Legacy mkv file on a two-channel setting. When I realized my mistake and switched to surround and activated the sub, the difference was obvious. For music, however, the bass is just fine without the sub. Music is actually more natural without the low rumble...

Sweet speakers!
I have always been a fan of Infinity speakers because most models sound better than the more expensive brands. Time & time again I have done blind tests at Ultimate Electronics comparing the medium range level down to bottom level speakers and almost every time I end up choosing infinity over, Klipsch, Definitive etc. These speakers are no exception. They don't disappoint and are cheap for what you get compared to other good brands that are about double the price. If you want a really good middle of the road speaker that will rock, get these with a 15" infinity sub and maybe some satellite speakers and you will have a great speaker system.
Wasn't impressed at first
These really are not a bad deal for what you pay for them. (I paid $400 for the pair). For that money they are a clean, well extended speaker but they have to be mated to the right amplification. With an HK 150 w.p.c integrated they played loud but were shrill and dry. Swapping in a Yaqin MC10L tube amp with NOS Bugle Boy preamp tubes and =C= output tubes, the sound smoothed and the midrange become more realistic. They are still a little dry and you have to play with placement but they can be made to sound very good. Strong detail, great midbass with some extension to lower reaches, just not a ton of output below 50Hz. I have them in a 12'x14' bedroom with acoustic treatments and they can produce some chills when listening to dynamic music at moderate listening levels. Male vocals lack a little richness, but a good value for the price.
