Terrific Sound, But Rather Large
This stereo at 900 watts is extremely powerful. (Although Amazon advertizes the stereo at 850 watts the literature that came with it says 900 watts.) In fact, it's almost too powerful for a small room. The sound is fantastic, clear with plenty of bass if you like rock. The system comes with both preset and manual equalizers. There is a USB input and a jack for a mic. It also has a music port for MP3 other players. I haven't tried it since I don't have an auxiliary player. The AM and FM work reasonably well on the antennas provided. I can't say it's wonderful, but since I live in an area where reception is poor, I can't criticize it either. If you like pounding bass you can make this system rock. When the bass is strong, the super woofer and the lights on the control box pulse to the rhythm of the bass. It looks cool. I think this system would be excellent in a recreation room, particularly where young people party.

One caution: the system is rather large. It's over three...

THIS STEREO SYSTEM ROCKS!!!
This is a really well designed and beautiful stereo system that really ROCKS just as well, if not better, than what it looks. I put this system in a very large fitness area where I use it during my fitness classes and let me tell you that there isn't a place in this very large room (20' x 60') and an abnormally high ceiling that has got to be at least 18 feet high that you can't hear what is playing perfectly. I tried to find a spot where the sound wasn't good and it just didn't exist! Okay, admittedly I didn't climb up to the top fo the 18 foot high ceiling just to see how well it sounded and I don't ever plan on it. However, I did place the system in the far corner of the building on a shelf, which by the way had to be pretty large in the first place (which fortunately it was) and reinforced before putting the stereo system on it because it is good sized and does weigh in at approximately 50 lbs., and it sounded good even at the other end of the room which is 60 feet away. Yes, you...
BIIIG Beautiful and Bodacious !!!
My family and I have always had a great deal of respect for Panasonic ever since we bought our first Panasonic product in the early 1970's and were blown away by its quality.

It has always been my impression that Panasonic does away with external "frills" by creating a "plain" product with EXCEPTIONAL quality, perhaps foregoing aesthetic bells and whistles in order to afford to put the quality where it really belongs -- into product output and performance. This 4 piece unit is constructed with wood products (instead of real wood, which can cost a good deal), painted a pleasing black and trimed with nice AGGRESSIVE touches; it loks VERY nice, VERY imposing and is VERY big. But the sound output and the quality are also VERY BIG and OUTSTANDING.

Right now the only furniture that will accommodate this huge assemblage is my biig heavy but ugly white-chipped-paint bookcase, which is slated to be repainted black and tan with some decorative hardware added, so it will...
