Simply AMAZING Value
First off, I would like to say thanks to VMI for providing this free of charge for review.
As my title states, it is a very budget minded product.
As soon as you remove the speakers from the box, you get a good idea of the value of this speaker set. The subwoofer feels sturdy and the digital, feature packed display were definitely a surprise to me.
The remote control was another nice addition as well as the PRO features that allowed the system to be switched from 2.1 to 5.1. That way, if I choose not to run the rear speakers, I can still enjoy the system.
As far as the sound, I'll compare it to a Samsung sound bar that I purchased from Walmart ($350).
The subwoofer packs WAY more punch than I expected. Is it the cleanest sounding sub? Of course not. Will it knock pictures off of your walls? Probably not. But, can you really complain about a powered 5.1 setup with a subwoofer with a built in EQ and separate speaker level controls...
